The Shane Watson good bowling figures of 3/26 restricted Ireland to 123/7 and the all-rounder came back to star with the bat and watson scoring a quick-fire 51 off 30 balls which helped Australia win with 4.5 overs to spare.
The ireland player Niall O'Brien was unable to follow suit on the bowled by Watson's slower ball when trying to heave across the line and the shane watson was delivering a keynote spell and he made it more so by coaxing Kevin O'Brien to touch a shortish in the sharpish delivery on its way through to Matthew Wade and australia though as Cameron White went on to score an unbeaten 22 and in the company of skipper George Bailey 6 not out saw his team through.
