First Twenty20 Australia Win against India

Australia 4 for 171 (Wade 72, Hussey 42) beat India 6 for 140 (Dhoni 48*, Hussey 2-4) by 31 runs

And the 31-run victory for Australia over India in the 1st Twenty20 international at Stadium Australia in Sydney, which hosted events during the Olympics in 2000.

Dhoni says bowling first was the wrong move and he blames it on top-order failure.

There was a 20-minute rain delay after the 13th over of Australian innings.

“If a couple of the top-order batsmen had stayed for longer, it would have been easier for the new batsman coming in to play their shots with someone at the other end. But it didn’t happen for us today,” Dhoni told reporters.
